Elementary School -- K-5th Grade
Our reading program is phonics based, emphasizing accuracy, fluency and comprehension. Manuscript handwriting is mastered before cursive is formally introduced and taught. Journaling, creative writing and research writing is practiced and encouraged.
The Academy's math curriculum facilitates higher level thinking, encourages students to take the problem to the next level, including addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, pre-algebra and geometry, and statistics and graphing.
Science is taught in thematic units encouraging the exploration and understanding of God's creation.
Students are encouraged to make decisions using the Bible as their foundation, to respect our Creator and to develop a personal, ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ. Bible stories and characters are studied daily through scripture, songs and memorization.
Students receive regular instruction in Spanish, art, music and physical education.
The cumulative curriculum involves unit studies, craft/project activities and opportunities for cooperative learning.

Middle School -- 6th-8th Grade
Core subjects taught to middle school students include: language arts, social studies, science, math and Bible. Teachers create an environment for students to successfully master the building blocks of each subject.
Classroom instruction includes real life situations as learning tools and hands-on opportunities. Students are continually equipped with critical thinking skills and the tools needed for a successful high school experience.
Bible class focuses on the lives of men and women throughout the Scripture. Students are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and personal Bible study habits.

High School -- 9th-12th Grade
Central Academy offers a challenging program of study for the college-bound student.
The primary focus of classroom instruction is on developing critical thinking skills. Core programs of study include English, social studies, science, mathematics, foreign language and Bible.
Honors courses are offered in 10th grade, for qualified students, while juniors are eligible and encouraged to begin college-level work at community colleges.
The objective of the Bible curriculum is to facilitate the development of a student's Christian worldview and to equip them with the tools, attitudes, and stamina to live a Christ-centered life during their college years and beyond.
Elective courses in health, physical education, computing, debate, current events and the visual performing arts supplement the core curriculum.
Extracurricular activities include yearbook, student publications, Beta club, drama, praise band along with athletics.
Currently Central Academy offers the following athletic programs: basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, cross country, golf, and volleyball.
