Central Academy Seniors Receive National Recognition
Central Academy senior, Michael Lewis, has been named a Finalist in the 2012 National Achievement Scholarship Program. Selected from a field of 160,000 students, Michael is one of about 800 seniors who is competing for scholarship monies that can be used at the university of his choice. Michael is the first Central Academy student to achieve such prominent recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Central Academy senior, Josiah Paramore, has received recognition from the National Achievement Scholarship Program. Josiah’s honor is on the basis of his performance on the PSAT. Josiah is one of 3,100 students out of 160,000 who scored high enough on the exam for identification as a high performing student. As an honoree, his academic information has been forwarded to select colleges and universities for scholarship consideration.
